Daniel in the Lion's Den (NIV)

Chapter 1

Daniel had a dream that frightened him. He woke up and prayed to God for help. But he was still afraid. He decided to tell his friends about his dream.

Chapter 2

Daniel's friends were also afraid of the king's orders. They prayed with Daniel and tried to understand his dream. But they couldn't agree on what it meant. They went to see the king to ask for help.

Chapter 3

The king sent for Daniel. He told him that he wanted him to explain his dream. Daniel told the king that his dream was a message from God. He said that God would judge the wicked people who followed false gods. He said that the people would be punished and the righteous would be saved.

Chapter 4

Daniel and his friends were taken to the lion's den. They were thrown into the pit with fierce lions. But God saved them from the lions and they were not harmed. The king and his people believed in God and changed their ways.

But God's protection is always with us, no matter what we face in life. We can trust in God's love and power to help us through any challenge.
