短則英文故事：The Lonely Doll

Once upon a time, there was a doll named Alice who lived in a big house with a small window. She was lonely and missed her family. One day, a little boy named Tom came to play with Alice. He brought her many adventures and made her laugh and dance. But when Tom left, Alice was left alone again.

One night, Alice heard a knock at the window. She opened it to find a beautiful fairy with sparkling wings. The fairy said, "Alice, you are not alone. I have come to be your friend." From that day on, Alice had a new friend who filled her days with joy and laughter.
