故事標題：The Haunted House

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful village called Little Hope. In the center of the village, there was a large old house that had a mysterious reputation. People said that the house was haunted by a restless spirit, and many had tried to move out but couldn't.

One night, a young couple named Emily and David moved into the old house. They were a young, in love couple and didn't believe in such nonsense. However, the next morning, they found their cat missing and the windows were broken. They thought it was just kids having fun, but as time went on, they began to notice other strange things happening in the house.

One night, they heard a knocking sound coming from the basement. They went downstairs and found nothing, but they could still hear the sound. They thought it was their imagination, but it kept happening every night.

As they stayed longer, they started to notice more and more signs of a ghost. Their photos were blurry and showed something they didn't recognize. Emily and David grew more and more afraid, but they couldn't leave because of their pride. Finally, they found a way to trap the spirit. They put a picture of themselves in a cabinet in the basement and hoped that the spirit would leave them alone.

The next day, they woke up to find their cat sitting on the cabinet, looking at them with sad eyes. They knew then that the spirit was real and that it had been trying to communicate with them all along. They left the house that day, never to return.

From then on, the old house was abandoned and no one dared to go inside. Rumors say that at night, you can still hear knocking coming from the basement and see a shadowy figure standing at the window.
