英文童話小故事：The Little Red Hen

Once upon a time, there was a little red hen who lived alone in a field. She was very hardworking and always wanted to do things herself, but she was lonely and missed having friends to share her adventures with. One day, she decided to plant some seeds in a garden and hoped that some animals would come to help her.

After planting all the seeds, the little red hen waited and waited for animals to come and help her harvest. But none of them did. She was sad and disappointed, but she didn』t give up. She decided to work even harder and try again the next year.

The next year, she planted even more seeds and waited even longer for help. But still, none of the animals came. She worked and worked until she finally harvested a small basket of fruits and vegetables. She was so happy and proud of herself for what she had accomplished.

One day, a bird came to the little red hen and said, 「I heard you made all this yourself. You’re really something!」 The little red hen beamed with pride and said, 「Yes, I did it all by myself. I』m not going to ask anyone for help because I know I can do it myself.」

From then on, the little red hen became famous in the animal kingdom for her hard work and perseverance. She learned that success comes from hard work and never giving up, no matter how lonely or difficult the journey may be.

This story teaches us that we should never give up on our dreams and that we can achieve anything we set our minds to if we work hard enough.
