英文故事：The Frog in the Well

Once upon a time, there was a frog living in a well. He had never seen the outside world, and he thought that the well was the most beautiful place in the world. One day, a stranger came to the well and told the frog about the beauty of the world outside. The frog was fascinated and wanted to see it for himself.

The frog asked the stranger to help him out of the well, but the stranger knew that it would be impossible. He explained to the frog that he was too small and weak to make it on his own. The frog was disappointed, but he still dreamed of seeing the outside world.

Every day, the frog would climb up the wall of the well and look up at the sky. He imagined what the world outside might be like, and he longed to experience it for himself. Finally, after many months of dreaming, the frog died of frustration and loneliness. His body sank back into the well, and he never got to see the world he had only imagined.

The moral of this story is that we should never limit ourselves to what we know, but should always strive to expand our horizons and experience new things. We should never be like the frog in the well, who died of frustration because he couldn't realize his dreams.
