Hello, everyone! My topic today is about protecting the environment and cherishing resources. We all know that our earth is our home, and we must take care of it.

First, let me ask you a question. Do you like to live in a clean and green environment? Of course, we all do. But do we always protect our environment? Not always. Sometimes we may throw rubbish here and there, or even use too much water and electricity without thinking.

Now, imagine that our earth is like a beautiful painting, with green trees, blue sky, and sparkling water. But if we keep doing things like this, the painting will be dirty and ruined. We need to stop this before it』s too late.

What can we do to protect the environment? Firstly, we can save energy. Turn off the lights and TV when we leave the room, and use energy-saving light bulbs instead of normal ones. Secondly, we should recycle paper, plastic bags, glass bottles and other things that can be reused. Finally, we should plant more trees and flowers to make our environment more beautiful.
