She explained everything to her and they came back to the forest to rescue Little Red Riding Hood. They chased after the wolf and eventually killed it with a stick.

Then they went back home and Little Red Riding Hood was safe and sound with her grandmother. She learned a valuable lesson from this experience: always listen to your parents and be careful around strangers.
