開頭：

Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of the

第一部分：

So she wandered off into the woods, alone.

她便一個人走進了樹林。

She found a door，開著的門，就走了進去。這是一條長廊，盡頭有一扇小門。她推開門，看見一個新奇的世界——那裡有許多小房間，每個房間都有一個小門通向下一層。她一直往下走，直到她看到一條小毛蟲爬在樹上。她問小毛蟲：「你能告訴我怎麼走出這個迷宮嗎？」小毛蟲說：「如果你一個一個地打破它們的話，你會發現這其實是多麼容易啊！」但是她還沒有見到許多花草就認輸並原路返回了。

第二部分：

At this point，she noticed a hole in the ground nearby. She decided to have a look in it and she fell down. Down and down and down she fell until she woke up with a sudden thud and found she had fallen into a large river.

於是，她看見了洞中有一條地道。她就跳了進去。一路順著下去，來到一條又寬闊又平靜的河邊，而她的身邊沒有任何安全可言的障礙物（空蕩蕩的）直伸向水中！她只好爬上岸來，繼續往前走。突然間，她發現自己在一座高塔上，於是她繼續沿著高塔一直走下去，直到她來到一個被圍欄保護著的迷宮裡。她進去後發現裡面有一個非常大的桌子和幾個洋娃娃，桌子旁邊坐著一個老婦人，老婦人讓她猜謎語來決定她的命運。她想了很久也沒猜出來。

結局：

She awoke with a start. It was a dream! She sat up. And there was the Red Queen looking at her with one of her great jaws dropped open in a toothless smile. The sun was setting behind Alice, who had slept so soundly, her head thrown back on the grass.

醒來時感到自己在做夢！她坐起來一看，只見紅後正用一排牙齒嚼著東西，嘴張得大大的，露出滿嘴黃牙的笑容。太陽已經落山了，而愛麗絲還在草地上睡得正香呢。
