I immediately called the police and reported what had happened. They arrived shortly after and took the thief into custody. I felt good about what I had done, knowing that I had caught a thief and prevented someone else from being victimized.

In conclusion, it is important to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to authorities. Thieves are a threat to society and need to be caught and punished for their crimes. We all have a responsibility to protect ourselves and others from such criminals.
