Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily. She loved Christmas more than anything in the world. Every year, she eagerly waited for the big day to come.

On the day of Christmas, Lily woke up early and ran to the window. She was expecting to see the most beautiful sight of all - the decorated Christmas tree and all the presents under it. But this year, she was surprised to see something even more wonderful.

Outside her window, a little elf was standing. He had a red cap, a white dress and a smile that warmed her heart. 「Merry Christmas, Lily,」 he said. 「I』ve been sent to give you a special gift.」

Lily was so surprised that she couldn』t speak for a moment. Then she looked at the elf and said, 「A gift? But I don』t have any money to buy one.」

The elf smiled and handed her a small box. 「This is a gift that money can』t buy,」 he said. 「Open it and see what it is.」

Lily opened the box and found a beautiful painting inside. It was of a scene from her childhood, when she and her family would gather around the Christmas tree and sing carols. She knew that this painting would forever remind her of the best moments of her life.

She hugged the elf and thanked him over and over again. Then she went back to bed, but she couldn』t stop looking at the painting, lost in happy memories.

That Christmas, Lily received a gift that money couldn』t buy – a gift that would forever change her life. It was a painting of the most beautiful moment of her heart, which brought joy and happiness all year round.
