英文寓言故事:The Fox and the Stork

One day, a fox encounters a stork and immediately tries to catch it. The stork, however, is very tall and thin and the fox cannot reach it. So, the fox decides to try to convince the stork to come down from its perch.

The fox says, "Stork, I want to ask you a question. You are very tall and thin, what do you eat? Maybe you can't find your food easily. I have a solution for you. You can come down from your perch and we can share our food together."

The stork is not fooled by the fox's words and says, "I am not fooled by your words. You are just trying to trick me. I will not come down from my perch."

The fox is frustrated and leaves. The moral of the story is that one should not be fooled by someone's appearance or words and should not trust those who try to deceive others.
