Three, it may be, or more,

Yet it seems like just a few

Days go by so fast

Yet it seems like an eternity.

Three years ago, I met you

And the world seemed to brighten up

Three years later, our love grew

And we thought it would last forever.

But now you're gone, three days gone

I feel lost, so alone

Three times a day, I think of you

Yet I keep going, surviving.

Time passes, and life goes on

Yet memories linger on

For the ones we loved so dearly

Gone too soon, they surely never should have been.

But three days gone, life must go on

Holding onto hope and faith

Because life is worth fighting for

And our love is still very much a part.
