Long ago, in a distant little village in the mountains, there lived a young man named Asagyo. He was poor, working only to feed his family, cutting firewood and planting crops, leading a hard life. One day, Asagyo went into the forest in search of food when he encountered a beautiful white bird that could sing. It told him of a secret—Kagu-yami lived in a cave behind the mountain. She could grant any wish as long as he was willing to pay the price.

Desiring to see Kagu-yami, he went to the cave and there he met a beautiful fairy. Kagu-yami told him that she had been trapped here for a long time and yearned for freedom and love. She was willing to grant Asagyo a wish in exchange for a price, but it was his decision to make.

After some hesitation, Asagyo chose love. Kagu-yami was moved and agreed, telling him a secret—her body was made of moon essence, so she needed the dewdrop from the moon to sustain her life. To obtain the dewdrop, Kagu-yami needed someone she could trust to accompany her to the moon.

So, Asagyo and Kagu-yami embarked on a journey to find the dewdrop. They traveled through mountains and valleys, overcoming many difficulties and challenges. During this journey, Asagyo became brave and strong, his heart gradually filled with love. They eventually reached a garden on top of a mountain where flowerbeds were always laden with new dewdrops.

Asagyo brought the dewdrop back to Kagu-yami, and their wish was granted. Not long after, Asagyo and Kagu-yami fell in love and soon they were married. They spent many happy times together in the moon kingdom, and their story became a legend in the land.
