She left behind her memories of her new life and her love for the prince. She realized that being human was not all it was cracked up to be. She missed being free in the ocean and singing with her friends, and she missed her family more than anything else in the world.

But she knew that she would always have her memories of her time on land and would always cherish them in her heart.
