My Favorite Festival

There are many festivals in a year, but my favorite festival is the Spring Festival. It is a traditional Chinese festival.

The Spring Festival is a time for family reunion. People usually go back home to see their relatives during this festival. It is also a time for people to clean their houses and buy new clothes for themselves. People also set off firecrackers and fireworks to welcome the New Year.

In addition, there are many customs and traditions during the Spring Festival. For example, people usually put red couplets on their doors and hang spring couplets on their windows. They also make dumplings or spring rolls to celebrate the festival.

I like the Spring Festival because it is a time for me to relax and enjoy the happiness of family reunion. I also like to set off firecrackers and fireworks with my family. Besides, I can get some lucky money from my relatives.

Overall, the Spring Festival is a wonderful festival with rich cultural and traditional meanings. It is my favorite festival because it reminds me of my childhood and family happiness.
