Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily. She had a terrible nightmare every night. In her dreams, she would be chased by a monster that seemed to come from nowhere. The monster would always catch up with her and make her feel scared and helpless.

One night, Lily woke up feeling upset and anxious. She couldn't sleep again and she couldn't stop thinking about the nightmare. She decided to talk to her mother about it and ask for help.

Her mother sat down next to her and listened to Lily's story. She explained that nightmares were common and could be caused by many things, such as stress, anxiety, or even a lack of sleep. She advised Lily to try to relax, get enough sleep, and avoid eating too much before bedtime.

Lily followed her mother's advice and tried to relax before bedtime. She also started to write in a journal every night, recording her thoughts and feelings about the nightmare. Gradually, she started to feel better and her nightmares began to lessen.

One day, Lily woke up feeling much more rested and calm. She didn't have a nightmare that night. She felt relieved and excited to tell her mother. Her mother smiled and said, "See, I told you that you would feel better."

From then on, Lily started to trust herself and her ability to overcome her nightmares. She started to look forward to going to sleep every night because she knew it would be filled with dreams of happy moments instead of nightmares of fear and dread.

In conclusion, nightmares are a common problem that can be overcome with the right approach. By seeking help, accepting the situation, and trying new methods, people can overcome their nightmares and start living a more peaceful and restful sleep.
