Viewing Lin Zexu

I am extremely obsessed with China's modern history, and I am not satisfied with the description of the "words" of the Humen smoke and the Opium War in the history books. So I have been looking for a movie that will give me a deeper understanding of the Humen smoke and the Opium War. I chose Lin Zexu.
I never thought that "Lin Zexu" was a black and white film taken in the 1950s, which made me feel that the film itself is a history.
The film "Lin Zexu" tells the history of the unyielding resistance of the Chinese nation in 1839 when the Humen sold cigarettes to Sanyuanli in 1841. The film consists of three famous historical silhouettes of Lin Zexu Humen, Yantian Pei, the British Army, and Sanyuanli. These three historical silhouettes all show the firm determination and strong will of the Chinese nation to fight against foreign aggression!
Throughout the whole movie, Lin Zexu’s spirit of “loyalty” made me admire. When the country was in dire straits and the opium was flooding, he stepped forward and resolutely curbed opium poisoning. This is "righteousness". In the face of the impeachment and fall of the court, he is silent and calm, and it is almost unbelievable. This is "loyalty." However, he was trapped by loyalty and justice. A word of "righteousness" became a stumbling block to his career, but he completely ignored it. He was single-mindedly only for the people who mourn in the troubled times. A "loyalty" word also became a roadblock for him to realize his ideals. He is dedicated to the people, and he is loved by the people. He is dedicated to the people and gets the suspicion of the court! In order to practice "loyalty," he left the people who loved him and ended his career. When he left, he noticed the tight brow under his calm appearance and his lonely eyes.
Poor, in the Qing Dynasty, there are still some people who ignore the national interests, such as Qi Shan, but he and Lin Zexu will be named in the same history, but the name is different, one is a tribute, the other is a stinking year. !
But pitiful, indecisive, confusing Daoguang Emperor.
It is not necessary to talk about the brutality of the British army, the incompetence of the rulers, and the corruption of the officialdom. For history, we can't always be objective, but have a deeper generalization. We can only say that Lin Zexu is a well-deserved national hero. His heroic achievements will always shine in the annals of history!
