How the Steel Was Tempered

Steel, how strong words! With a hint of spiritual pleasure and sentiment, I read a novel by the Soviet writer Nikola Ostrovsky, "How Steel Is Made."

Nikola Ostrovsky was born in a family of poor workers in Ukraine, and his father died young. Because of his life, he began to work as a child at the age of 10, joined the Communist Youth League at the age of 15, and immediately participated in the civil war to defend the Soviet regime. After the hard work, he did not yield, struggled with the disease with amazing perseverance, and began literary creation on the collapse of the disease. He used his own revolutionary experience as a material to write a long-lasting novel with a tenacious will--How is steel made?

In the first book, the protagonist Paul Kochakin was driven out of school to work in the cafeteria next to the train station. After leaving the canteen, an earth-shattering message swept into the small town like a whirlwind: "The Tsar gave it down!" It also faced the arrival of the guerrillas. The guerrillas sent guns and I grabbed a gun. Because of the gun, the Germans came to the city to ask for the weapons, so I dealt with the guns. When we first met Dong Nia at the pond, we talked very kindly and cheerfully. Later, because he was arrested on the road and slammed the head of the escort, he escaped from prison because he had made a lie.

After escaping from prison, Paul unwittingly went to the home of Tonya. Paul was afraid of losing Dongia and left in the morning. Paul joined the Communist Youth League, bid farewell to his hometown, and wrote a letter to his brother Alcham, which told something. In another encounter, Paul and Xie Liaosha met, and the two of them hugged tightly until the train wheels slowly turned, and they released their arms. A week later, Xie Liaosha was defeated by a stray bullet. Paul’s body deteriorated and he was asked to go to the railway factory, but there was no shortage of manpower. On a memorable morning in October 1920, Paul returned to his familiar hometown and talked indifferently with his mother. On the night after three days, the Kochakin family was reunited.

For the stubborn Paul Kochakin, no matter how poor he is, he will not complain about it. He just works in obscurity. We are admired for the ability to suffer hard. And now that we live in a happy little city, why not feel lucky?

Paul Kochakin not only brought me a view of the journey of life, but also brought me the truth, so that I can add a beautiful scenery in the future life path.
