"Childhood" after reading

Ksim Gorky’s "Childhood" is world famous. On a very ordinary Sunday afternoon, I opened it. Emotions also fluctuated with the black and white characters in the book.

The painful childhood life of the protagonist Aliosha touched me: the four-year-old father, the grief-stricken mother and the kind-hearted grandmother went to the tyrannical, bankrupt-small home of the grandfather's grandfather, but often beaten by the violent grandfather. But the kind grandmother is protecting him everywhere. At his grandfather's house, he met many "quiet and quiet" relatives, including two selfish, insatiable, mischievous Mikhail and Yakov, and two are called Sarah. Cousin. The simple and intimate love of Aliosha’s “Little Tsang” used his arm to block the whip of his grandfather’s body on Aliosha, although he would be swollen. Aliosha’s childhood was dark, just like his family. There are too many cruel things around, and sometimes even he can't believe that such things will happen. But fortunately, there are grandmothers - the spiritual pillar of the whole family. Aliosha also knows a lot of other people: a few tenants after moving into a new house, three young masters next door, and so on. Aliosha understood some truths from some of the "strange" moves of his family.

Compared with Alyosha, our childhood is splendid and colorful; it is painless and worry-free. There are so many children who don't even know what to call "being" because we have never experienced the taste of being beaten and being taken by people. That may be an unimaginable pain. Of course, in addition to this, there are very few intrigues between our families in our lives, such as greed and fierce things like fighting for property. There is no such thing as a "terrorist incident" that has never been thought of by cruelty to torture an innocent person. God, in comparison, our childhood and Aliosha have a world of difference. We live in honeypots every day, soaked in sweet water, piled up with golden money... How happy we are! We never have to think about clothing, food, shelter, and transportation. This makes it enough for adults to worry about it. It is not enough for us.

But with these, we are not satisfied. We always want more. Because, in our eyes, it is easy for adults to make money, and it seems that they are effortless. How old are we. Indeed, we don’t have to go to the “human world” alone when we are only 11 years old like Aliosha. But after reading "Childhood", we should repent of our own luxury, we should not waste, we should learn to cherish.

Then, let's start now. We are no longer extravagant, no longer waste; we begin to think for the elders and understand them; we should start to satisfy our own happy life. For the future, for the future, for the day we go to the "human world."
