a letter to human children

Dear children,

As the only living celestial body in the universe that I know today, I feel extremely proud of where you live. The minerals and living resources in my body maintain the survival of the global population. I give you a good living environment, and how you treat it.

Oxygen is a necessity for you to live. The plants that provide oxygen in my body are getting fewer and fewer. Nowadays, most of the trees in the city are transplanted, and the old ones are well-ordered high-rise buildings. The growing garbage production is making me overloaded, and the endless stream of public nuisance incidents, "garbage siege" has already sounded the alarm for you. There are more and more car exhausts over the city, and more and more people suffer from respiratory diseases. You not only ruin the plants, but also kill the animals. Some people madly kill and kill in order to satisfy their greedy desires, so that many animals are extinct and endangered...

In my body, I used to be filled with smoke. Why do you want to kill each other while living in a home? A war seems to be related to the rise and fall of the motherland's glory and shame, but have you ever considered it? How much is the deterrent power of a war alone. The Iran-Iraq war lasted nearly eight years. More than 600,000 people were killed or injured in Iran, and more than 400,000 people were killed or injured in Iraq. There are more than 3 million homeless refugees in both countries. The loss of oil revenues and the destruction of production facilities in the two countries exceeded $540 billion. The two countries lost a total of 900 billion US dollars in this war. The war has delayed the economic development of the two countries by at least 20 to 30 years; the Kosovo war lasted 78 days. The U.S.-led NATO dispatched 20,000 aircraft, dropped 21,000 tons of bombs and fired 1,300 cruise missiles, causing serious damage to military, civilian, industrial facilities and residential areas in most parts of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The air strikes also caused the death of more than 1,000 innocent civilians in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and hundreds of thousands of Albanians became refugees. The depleted uranium bombs used in the war and the cluster bombs banned by the Geneva Conventions have led to neonatal leukemia and various malformations. The continued bombing has also seriously deteriorated the ecological environment of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and its neighboring countries and regions; and now the North Korean and Korean-US coalition forces are ready to enter the war...

Now, my body is not as good as one day, and I can't predict when I will fall. Children, living under one roof, why not get along well and maintain this home together. You know, any little thing you do now is not only about my destiny, but also about your survival. For me, and for yourself, please act now!
