From January to October, the city's foreign trade exports reached 7.362 billion US dollars, an increase of 32.03% over the same period of last year. Focus on foreign trade and export, and do everything possible to open up the international market. 1. Organize economic and trade activities and explore emerging markets. This year, on the basis of consolidating and expanding the traditional export market, I actively applied to the national and provincial governments for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises to nearly 5 million yuan. Organize enterprises to hold trade and sales activities in Russia, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Guide and encourage enterprises to fully explore potential emerging markets such as Europe and the United States, further improve the rational distribution of foreign trade export markets, and improve the ability to withstand foreign trade risks. 2. Pay close attention to science and technology, and optimize product structure. I actively promote the "scientific and technological trade" and "brand-driven" strategy, and strive to cultivate products with independent intellectual property rights. This year, the company applied for 5.1 million yuan of science and technology trade funds to the provincial foreign trade and economic cooperation department, and obtained a discount of 4 million yuan for the national technological transformation loan for the five technical transformation projects of the city. At the same time, it will guide the processing trade from OEM production to ODM production, promote processing trade efficiency and increase processing trade value-added rate. 3. Promote the transformation of circulation foreign trade enterprises to industrial and trade enterprises. Grasping foreign economics and promoting enterprises to go out this year, I proposed to focus on expanding the foreign trade market in Southeast Asia. To this end, I went to Southeast Asia twice, and promoted the Guangdong New Technology Import and Export Corporation to undertake the construction project of the Ministry of Agriculture of Myanmar. Providing services for Zhongfu Company to set up factories and increase capital in Thailand; at the same time vigorously develop foreign labor cooperation, strengthen the management of foreign economic enterprises, maintain and standardize the business order of overseas enterprises, and effectively promote the development of foreign economic work in the city.
Grasp the port construction management and optimize the customs clearance environment 1. Actively promote the construction of “great customs clearance”. This year, I made efforts to promote the approval and supervision of processing trade enterprises. With the strong support of the customs and other units, the company was piloted in Canon in February. At present, 19 processing trade enterprises have been approved, and 6 of them have been implemented. The implementation of electronic network approval and supervision has not only facilitated enterprises, but also achieved scientific supervision. At the same time, it also strived to allocate funds from the provincial port authorities to further improve the remote monitoring system for customs clearance at Gongbei Port. 2. Carefully organize the construction of a one-stop rapid inspection and release system at Gongbei Port. Gongbei Port is the second Continental road port in China. The number of customs clearance vehicles has increased year by year. The existing port facilities have been difficult to meet the demand for passenger traffic growth. To this end, I will actively discuss the situation with the provincial port authorities and the municipal government, and propose to build a one-stop rapid inspection and release system project, that is, to implement a one-stop parallel inspection through the construction of the joint inspection public electronic platform to improve customs clearance efficiency. The system is the first project of the national port and is of great significance. This proposal has been affirmed by the provincial and municipal governments, and is listed as the main project of Guangdong-Macao cooperation and CEPA. The provincial government allocated 15 million yuan, and the municipal government also allocated special funds for construction. The project is currently being fully promoted.
