English is a main subject for middle school students. Whether it is schools, parents or students, it is very important. However, many students feel that this course is monotonous and boring, and even many students give up. The reason is that students have little contact with English learning, less opportunities to practice, and many factors that contrast with Chinese, which make students often have an unhealthy mentality of “disgusting, fearing, and abandoning” in English learning. This made me have to improve the teaching method. Establishing the educational concept that is compatible with the new curriculum Students are the main subjects of learning. I have studied the English Curriculum Standards, which provides a sufficient basis for the subsequent teaching, lays a solid foundation, and ensures the smooth progress of teaching. Teachers can only let students read their own books, feel things themselves, observe, analyze, and think by themselves, so that they can understand any truth and master any law. So I changed the "one-word hall" and returned the class to the students to form a teaching process of teacher-student interaction, active interaction, and common development.

1. I pay more attention to regular teaching, pay attention to cultivating students' ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, make full use of morning reading time, and ask students to read the text aloud, and read 5 minutes before class every day;

2. Grasp the vocabulary and sentence pattern learning, often conduct dictation training to improve students' ability to remember words and sentence patterns;

3. Listen to English more and more inside and outside the classroom. Try to teach in English as much as possible during class, so that students can get more exposure to English. Each class takes a certain amount of time for students to use different everyday language and classroom language to conduct conversations. Teaching experience, existing problems and future practices: 1. Teaching aspects: In-depth understanding and analysis of students' situation, targeted teaching, and multiple intensive training on each unit of words and phrases. Although I have conducted English reading training, the reading ability of students has not improved much. The scoring rate of single-choice and completed sentences is still decent, but the comprehensive knowledge will be drilled in the future. In the future, training in cloze-filling, reading comprehension and comprehensive fill-in-the-blank should be strengthened. 2. As far as learning is concerned, students will be interested in English learning. They will continue to improve their English scores by constantly and constantly feeling, using English and using English knowledge anytime, anywhere. 3, grasp the small test, unit test clearance; give full play to the main role of students.
