——Impression of Reading Robinson Crusoe

The British novelist Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe" describes the legend of the protagonist drifting the island, overcoming difficulties, and struggling to start a business. The protagonist planted crops on an isolated island, took a wooden house, ate a lot of hardships, survived, and finally returned to Britain in 28 years.

Open the first page of the book: "I would like to dedicate this book to young friends who rely on their parents and rely on the school from time to time." When I read this sentence from the title page, I created a book for this book. Inexplicable resentment. Being willful, squeamish, dependent, and hands-on, this is indeed the fault of most of us. But we are not willing to admit this, we do not want to do better? But why are the people around us always wearing this "hat"?

When I solemnly turned over the last page, after reading the story twists and turns, the ups and downs of the story, I think I was really shocked, it is a kind of spiritual shock. One question mark can't help but linger in my heart, if I am Robinson...

If I were him, when the ship crashed in the storm, would I not bow to fate and continue to sail as he did? No, if I can choose, I will not accept the life full of difficulties and frustrations, because I don't have that confidence.

If I were him, when I was alone on the desert island, I wouldn’t be arbitrarily arguing, and when the land was not working, would I not be self-defeating like him, rekindling the hope of life? No, in the face of a sudden disaster, I can't change my life like him, and I will save myself because I don't have that ability.

If I were him, when I saw the savage banqueting with my own kind, would I stand up bravely like him and fight with them with only one assistant? No, I would rather hide far away, pray that they will never find me, because I don't have the guts.

The calm lake can't refine the skilled sailors, and the comfortable life can't make the great man of the era. The environment is superior and the life is comfortable, which often induces this inertia and hinders people's growth. The harsh environment can stimulate people's efforts and make people determined to change their situation, thus promoting a person to grow. With this spirit of courage to challenge, no matter whether the environment is good or bad, we can create conditions and overcome difficulties. Otherwise, the superior environment will become a breeding ground for nourishment and inertia, and the harsh environment will become the abyss of the buried weak. Just like the road of life, it is rough, it is not flat, there are thorns, stones, mountains, and rapids everywhere. Life is not full of gorgeous sunset; it is a network of painful, hardship, and happy silk. When we are frustrated, we are treated positively.

I saw this sentence: "The sky is not always blue, the water is not always clear, the grass is not always green, the flowers are not always bright, and life cannot be smooth sailing." The flowers will fall, the grass will be yellow, but spring will give them life. From the fall to the back of the schoolbag, parents, the school paved the way for us to grow. I walked peacefully on this flat road year after year, no setbacks, no winds and waves, and I complained about it all day, complaining about it. In fact, I have never chewed the bitterness of life, I am happy. However, I don’t realize that I can eat and wear warm clothes, go to school with my schoolbag, and accept the care of my family every day. The concern of the society is a great joy.

Only after experiencing adversity can we succeed. Today we are just bugs that can't fly. With the realization of ambiguity, we can become a real butterfly and bravely move forward in the headwind.
