What is "worm"?

Worm is very common in our daily life, and I have seen a lot about the knowledge of insects. However, after reading the comics written by Mr. Zhou Yuequan, I have a question: What is the "bug"?

The manga is like this: a man with a small cigarette is waving an axe to cut a tree, and there is a woodpecker behind his head. The woodpecker said: "There must be insects in this piece of wood..."

What is a "worm"? Are the worms eaten by the woodpeckers on the trees, or the worms that lick the beams of the house; are the beneficial worms, or the harmful worms? ……neither! I think that the real bugs are the greed of people and the temptation of money. Maybe it means those people who don't care about nature, don't cherish forest resources, and slash and cut down!

Due to the slashing and cutting of some bad people, large-scale land in China is facing desertification and serious soil erosion. Our mother river, the Yellow River, is a good example: in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, due to deforestation, trees are scarce and soil erosion is severe, causing the sediment in the upper reaches of the Yellow River to be brought downstream by the water flow, and the Yellow River water has also become a soil. Yellow, forming a hanging river, and causing floods... caused a heavy disaster to the residents on both sides of the strait, causing them to be displaced and bitter. In order to enable residents on both sides of the Yellow River to live a stable and happy life, they must save the ecological environment around the upper reaches of the Yellow River, plant more trees and reduce soil erosion! The earth is advising us in this way: in order for us to live a happy life, for our children and grandchildren, we must protect the grass and trees, and do not slash and cut!

"There must be insects in this piece of wood...", "Pest" refers to those who do not care for the environment, hacking and cutting! We must realize that natural resources are limited and non-renewable, and we must protect these precious resources!
