After reading "Pony Crossing the River"

Today, I read the story of "Pony Crossing the River" and found this story to be very educational.

This story is about Ma Ma’s mother asking her to help her with a bag of wheat to grind her face. On the way to go, the pony passes through a river, the river flows very urgently, and there is no bridge on the river, the pony can't get through. He asked the uncle who was walking by the river. The old cow uncle told the pony that the river was very shallow. The little squirrel on the tree hurriedly shouted at the pony and said, "The water is too deep, and I can't get through. My friend was drowned here two days ago." The pony was scared after listening, but I still ran back. Go home and ask my mother. Mother said: "Children, you have to try it yourself to know that the river is not deep." Later, the little horse knew that the river was not as shallow as the old cow uncle, nor as deep as the little squirrel said.

I think there is nothing wrong with the uncles and the little squirrels in this story, because they are all kind enough to help the pony. However, the cattle are big and the river is of course nothing to him, but the little squirrel is relatively small. Of course, crossing the river is life-threatening. The size of the pony is smaller than that of the small squirrel, so you can only know if the river is deep or shallow.

This story tells us that no matter what you do, you must learn to think independently and try it yourself. Because the experience and suggestions of others may not be entirely suitable for us. Everything can only be thought of first, and if you try it, you will succeed.
