Talk to grandma

Today, the sun is shining. My grandmother and I are back from the farmer’s market. Grandma bent over and panted and said to herself: “It’s much more convenient to buy food now. I have to buy meat, food, food, and food before.”

I accidentally heard it and asked my grandmother in confusion: "What is a meat ticket, a vegetable ticket, a food stamp?"

So, my grandmother patiently explained to me: "There must be meat tickets, food stamps, food stamps... and money to buy meat, vegetables, and food."

I anxiously asked: "Why must I have a ticket to buy what I want to buy? If there is a guest coming to my home, then there is no ticket at home, can't entertain guests, how much?"

"Because there were few goods at that time, so meat, vegetables, and food should be bought with tickets." Grandma said with a smile.

"Where does the ticket come from?" I asked very puzzledly.

"The ticket is sent from the society to our brigade, and then sent to us by the brigade." Grandma said, gently stroking my head.

At this time, my heart silently thought: In the past, people's lives were really hard, and we must cherish the happy life now.
