My little turtle

On Saturday, my father and I came to the flower market to buy two small turtles. I deliberately chose two big ones, because Dad said that the big ones are better.

The two turtles look very similar. When I got home, I looked at them carefully and found a little nuance. Both turtles have a black turtle shell, but the shell of a turtle is all black, I call it "black back", the middle of the other turtle shell has a thin white line, I call it "white grain" ".

Most of the time, they indented the head and tail and limbs into the shell, sinking to the bottom of the water, motionless. If I sit quietly beside them for a while, I will see them sneaking out of the limbs and small heads and swimming in the water. I coughed softly, and immediately shrank my head into the shell. I think, this is the origin of the saying "shrinking the tortoise"? !

I know that the tortoise is still a long-lived animal. I hope that these two little turtles will continue to live healthy in my home.
