Tug-of-war event program


In order to enhance students' awareness of physical exercise, in the form of organizing competitions, create opportunities for college students who lack physical exercise, provide a stage to show collective style, promote team spirit through tug-of-war competition, enhance cohesion, and enable students to gather collective strength. Time: It is scheduled to be held in late April. The specific time will be announced separately. The venue in the East District Dining Hall will be adjacent to the empty space next to the basketball court.
Students from 9 colleges and universities.
Fourth, the rules of the game:
1. The tug-of-war draws three straight lines on the concrete floor with an interval of 200cm. A red cloth strip is placed in the middle of the tug-of-war rope, and a small weight is placed on the cloth strip perpendicular to the middle line. The center line is the center line and the lines on both sides are the river line. Except for team leaders, staff, and players, no other personnel may enter the competition venue.
2. Participate in each department as a unit, with a total of 9 teams. Each team consists of 2 team leaders and 20 participants.
3. Each game will send 2 competition supervisors to check whether the number of the other party is correct, whether there is any violation of supervision, and if the violation is found, the qualification will be cancelled immediately.
4. There is a referee and two linemen in the game.
V. Competition method:
Each game uses three wins and two wins to compete.
Before the start of the game, the teams were prepared in a standing position for each column of 20 people. After the start of the game, the athletes on both sides simultaneously exerted their strength and pulled the opponent through the river boundary defined by the competition.
Both sides of the game are determined by their respective draws, and each team selects a team leader to be responsible for the team's notice work. Each game period does not count until the referee wins the game.
Sixth, the game notes:
Each team must arrive at the competition site ten minutes in advance to warm-up exercise. If the team does not arrive at the scene within 10 minutes of the competition or if the number of participants is not enough, it will be treated as an automatic waiver. The corresponding team will automatically enter the next round.
After the winning team completes a round of competition, they must not leave the competition site. They must wait for the staff to make the next round of competition arrangements next to the competition site.
Each team cheerleader must obey the referee and the staff member's command, standing outside the prescribed track. There must be no imposter in the game, the cheerleaders can not play to help. Once found, immediately cancel the qualification.
In order to ensure the safety of the competition, the team members must not wear spikes or bare feet to participate in the competition; no gloves are allowed; the hand cannot loosen the rope before the referee wins the game.
The competition should be based on the spirit of "friendship first, competition second", focusing on participation, paying attention to safety and doing what it can. Since both sides are pulling hard during the game, they should not immediately loosen the rope after the first one, so as not to cause the other team members to be injured. The leaders will remember and tell the contestants.
When there is any objection to the judgment of the referee during the competition, only the leader has the right to apply for a protest.
