Growing up in Suffering——After Reading the World Who's Who

What is suffering? It is inevitable in the process of human growth.

When the famous American female writer Helen Keller was two years old, she was suffering from a serious illness. After the healing, although life has been saved, she has become a girl who is sly, dumb and blind. At the age of ten, I began to learn to speak, read blind books, and later learned five languages: French, German, and Latin. She also studied algebra, geometry, and physics with tenacious perseverance. Finally, in 1897, I completed a hundred thousand-word novel "The Story of My Life." After the publication of this novel, it caused a strong response in the United States. Helen has thus won the respect of the world.

The French writer Balzac said: "Suffering is a stepping stone for genius, and an abyss for the weak."

Andersen’s study was excellent in the class. Due to poverty in the family, she must drop out of school and go to Copenhagen as an actor. After the money was used up, I had to go to a furniture workshop to work. After a few days of work, the boss suspected that his strength was too small, so he dismissed him. Andersen had no choice but to sleep on the street. Siberian singer Sidoni, who was as poor as Andersen, took him in, and Andersen learned to sing while studying culture at the Sibony home. One day after half a year, Andersen suddenly got a cold, which affected his vocal cords. There is no way to go, a poet sees his diligence and decides to help him. After hard study, Andersen finally became a fairy tale writer.

Ordinary people face difficulties, are depressed, embarrassed, and deterred. The outstanding figures are different. They face difficulties, fighting, shouting, and resisting.

Homer is the "king of the poet" in ancient Greece. In 870 BC, Homer was born into a hereditary aristocratic family, and Homer received a good education from an early age. It was unfortunate that in childhood, the plague was infected, and Homer’s eyes were blind, which changed Homer’s life. Once, the mother invited a poet who would play the harp to play the story of the ancient hero for Homer. Homer was moved by the beautiful piano and the tragic story. He learned from the poet and finally began to create his own two epics of "Iliad" and "Odyssey".

The writers and scientists in the book...they are the source of strength in my growth!
