When I revisited this film as a teacher, I got to know Wang Shuangling more deeply and truly felt the great spirit of Wang Shuangling's teacher. This is a big touch for me.

The film tells the touching story of an ordinary teacher in Shanghai. Teacher Wang Shuangling is amiable and everyone respects her. One day, Teacher Wang received a poor class, not only the poor grades, but even the classroom discipline was the last. In order to understand the situation of the students, Mr. Wang went to the home of the students as soon as he finished his work. Teacher Wang has a heart attack. The doctor said that he must rest at home for two months. However, Mr. Wang insisted on going to school and home visits for the students. One day, a student's parents were arrested by the public security organs for illegally selling yellow discs. Teacher Wang brought the student to his home and cared for him, so that the student felt the warmth of his mother for the first time. Later, she finally quietly left because of overwork.
