Wen Jiang Temple

On November 1st, 2012, the autumn was high and the wind was bright and sunny. My grandfather and I decided to visit the Wenjiang Temple.

We walked to the front of Wen Jiang Temple and saw the four golden glittering characters "Yan Wen Jiang Yan" above the temple door. The temple door is simple and elegant. Entering the temple gate, the face of the antique is the fragrant temple, the temple is a place dedicated to burning incense, Song Shenzong also wrote a notice for him. There are two songs of the Song Dynasty on both sides of the temple. The millennium wind cream blurs the handwriting. Behind the temple is the main hall. There is a couplet on the two pillars of the main hall. The Shanglian is “The Herd of Heaven and the Earth is greater than the filial piety”. The lower link is “With the river and the moon, and the god is sincere and godlike”. The main hall is the Tang Dynasty architecture, which is beautiful and beautiful. Yan Wen Jiang grandmother sat quietly inside. Her kind eyes looked at the following, as if to tell us; to be filial to the elders, to be a good person.

Legend has it that Yan’s grandmother, Yan Mingwen, has a bad mother-in-law who is very mean to her. The evil mother-in-law made a pair of sharp-bottomed buckets for her grandmother, so that her grandmother could pick water from ten miles away. She filial piety for a few years, such as a day of filial piety, every day to pick up water for housework. The fairy was touched and gave her a whip. As soon as she was stirred in the water tank, the water filled the tank. Soon the evil mother-in-law discovered it. She grabbed the whip and threw it into the water tank. I saw the raging water spewing out. It was going to be a big deal. I saw that Grandma’s grandmother rushed over and covered the water tank with her body. The water flow slowed down, and the grandmother became a stone statue. The spring under her body was inexhaustible, and there was a filial piety river. In order to commemorate her, people established the "Wen Jiang Temple".

The source of Xiaofu River is the famous Lingquan. It is located in the front yard of the main hall. It is seven meters square and surrounded by stone railings. The spring water flows out from the culvert below the main hall, and it is clear and mellow. There is a poem under the base of the main hall. "The name of the filial piety is from ancient times to the present. The source of the school is more profound. The day is sucked for the rain, and the world is not filial."

After visiting the Wen Jiang Temple, I was touched by the story of Yan’s grandmother. In the future, I will filialize my elders at home, make the family more warm, and make the society more harmonious.
