Xichang Travel Notes

Second day of February 4, 2019

Tonight, my father and mother boarded the train to Xichang. Thinking about seeing the beautiful Xichang, I am so excited that I can't sleep. Unfortunately, the lights of the train were quickly extinguished.

The third day of the second day of February 5

The day is still not bright, we have arrived in Xichang. Listen to the adults saying that the four seasons in Xichang are warm as spring, but it is cold in the morning and evening. We didn't have time to rest and went straight to the famous Erhai Lake. Bohai was originally called Bohai Lake, but it was not the sea. It was a plateau lake. The locals wanted to call it better to listen to it. As soon as I arrived at the small fishing village of Erhai, I felt hungry because the streets and alleys were selling barbecues. At noon, the sun is very big, and the eyes can't open, and people want to take a nap in comfort. The winter in Chengdu is not so good. Finally, we found a seat and ordered a local famous drunken shrimp. The boss put the lively shrimp into a bowl filled with wine and vinegar, millet pepper, ginger and garlic, and told us that we could eat it. The shrimp is transparent, biting in the mouth, still moving, a sour taste. Listening to my mother said that this dish was rated as "China's top ten most cruel dishes." Poor shrimp! In the afternoon, we went to Lushan and visited the Yi Culture Museum. We learned that Xichang has a lot of lacquerware. The Yi people like black, yellow and red. Xichang people also like rice noodles.

Fourth day of the second day of February 6

It’s still not bright, we will take the bus to Luoshan. The mountains are full of snow, and the more the sun goes up the mountain. After more than two hours, the team took the "Asia's first long" ropeway and came to the 3,700-meter-high Black Dragon Pool. Listening to the tour guide, the lake here is black in summer. It is winter, and the lake is covered with thick ice. I roll on it, bask in the sun, and use the branches and stones to make ice-filled holes. I have a good time. The sun shines on the ice and is more translucent than the crystal. My mother already has an altitude sickness, but I have nothing to do, and I keep running on the lake.

February 7th

Today, we came to the Xichang Satellite Launch Center and saw a real rocket that I hoped for a long time. I was so excited to dance. I have learned the prototypes of the earliest graded rockets from the ascent of the 10,000 to the fire. I have been able to describe and draw the whole process of the rocket launch, it is really spectacular!

In the evening we got on the train back to Chengdu. I said something to the window: "Xichang, see you next time!"

On the 8th of February, the sixth yin

Back to Chengdu, although we are all tired but very satisfied. Uncles and aunts jokingly asked for gifts from me. I had to answer with shame: I didn't bring gifts, but I brought the sunshine of Xichang back!
