I tried to use this method to change the habit of honing my work. I took three approaches at the time:

Second, on the weekend, send him to the neighbor's house or invite the children of the neighbors to come home, so that the two can do their homework together. The child's ambition is particularly strong. When the two work together, they will inspire the child's "not admit defeat". He will consciously and actively concentrate on writing homework. ,
Third, I play a form every week. The form details the start and end time of the homework and the quality of the work. If a constant energy can finish the work within the specified time for five days and the quality of the work is good, he can realize his wish. He wishes that he has the final say. He can choose to buy a car, go to the movies, and play with him. The game, or go eat the KFC he loves.
These methods have all received immediate results. But after a while, he resumed the habit of dragging and honing.
Where is the problem? Because of the limited knowledge at the time, I could not find the reason. As I continue to review the relevant information, I have a new discovery: if the child shows appropriate or good behavior, parents should give the opportunity to reward and affirm, these rewards and affirmations are positive reinforcements that stimulate the child to perform well again. It turns out that I promised that a "realization of a wish" and a verbal reward for him are positive reinforcements. At that time, I also found some issues that should be noted when using "positive reinforcement":
1 Give positive reinforcements to be appropriate, so as not to cause "satisfaction" or damage to physical and mental health.
2 After the behavior is formed, the tangible reinforcements should be gradually reduced, and the social reinforcements should be gradually increased.
3 Positive reinforcement is effective in the initial stage of the formation of simple behaviors. For complex behaviors or behaviors that are relatively stable, other methods should be adopted.
When I read this passage, I suddenly realized that the reason why the method I used had had a significant effect in a period of time, but then returned to the original state is: when using the positive reinforcement method, I did not do it. .
Of course, the process of reviewing the data I also know the soldering concept of the “intermittent strengthening method”: only strengthen part, not all. Psychologists believe that the child's daily behavior is so much that it is impossible to strengthen every good behavior of the child. And there aren't as many positive reinforcements available. Intermittent reinforcement method is divided into four types: timing enhancement, time-varying strengthening, fixed-number strengthening, and variable strengthening.
I learned what I learned in time, and applied the first two methods to him according to the actual situation of a constant.
The first is the timing enhancement method, the timing enhancement, that is, the behavior of the actor after each fixed period of time can be enhanced once. I told Yiheng: "Every twenty minutes, I will go to the study to check if you are seriously writing homework." This method has also worked in a short time, because the child will "drill the hole", he will After I have finished checking, I will play for a while and then do my homework. This is a drawback that will occur when timing is strengthened.
After this method failed, I took the time-varying reinforcement method. I no longer help me to time, supervise, and check his homework every day, but instead change it from time to time. Check twice a week. If there are more than two times in January, if the work is not completed within the specified time or the quality of the work is poor, the reward will be cancelled.
In this way, I don’t know if I will go to check one day, he will always be vigilant and can’t relax his request. This move is very effective, and his consciousness of writing homework is much higher than before.
