Dragon Boat Festival

The Dragon Boat Festival can be regarded as grand in China's folk festivals. The scorpions, tea eggs, and mugwort are all characteristics of the Dragon Boat Festival.

When I was a child, I was able to excite the Dragon Boat Festival for a week, because I could eat the fragrant scorpion. At that time, life was rather monotonous and bitter. It was not a normal holiday. Speaking of the scorpion, it is not only delicious, but the most important thing is the fun in the process of wrapping the scorpion. Every year at the end of the Dragon Boat Festival, my mother ran a pot of glutinous rice on the first night. The next morning, I was wrapped with my mother. The green leaves were mixed with glutinous rice and jujube, wrapped in triangular scorpions. Put it in a large pot for 3 or 4 hours, then the mother soaked the scorpion in the prepared two buckets. After cooling, carefully pry the bamboo leaves and bite a white glutinous rice, purple red jujube Exposed to the head, licking the sugar and eating again, it was so sweet and delicious at the time, and it was very relishing.

On the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival, the family put the mugwort collected on the mountain on the door, saying that it is to avoid evil. Our children just follow the example and do not understand the meaning.

On the morning of the Dragon Boat Festival, after getting up, the mother wrapped a multicolored silk thread on our wrists and ankles, and it was always carried in the future. It is said that I can go to the sick and get rid of evil. In fact, in my heart, these colorful silk threads are a substitute for those delicate bracelets in my heart. Some people will also spend some money to buy a scented bag for their children. My mother used her own hand to make some small cloth, stuffed with some cotton and put some herbs. Even so, we are very happy.

It is a joy to remember when I am a child, and the atmosphere of the festival is thicker than now.
