元宵節英文故事：

很久以前，一位叫元宵的仙女喜歡在農曆正月十五這一天悄悄離開天宮，來到人間。她這麼做的原因是因為她非常想念她的母親。在人間，她幫助人們製作元宵，看花燈，猜燈謎，享受這個特殊的節日。人們也非常喜歡她，並且就把農曆正月十五命名為「元宵節」，也叫「燈節」。

Legend has it that a beautiful goddess named元宵 liked to sneak out of heaven on the night of the fifteenth day of the first lunar month to visit the mortal world. She did so because she missed her mother very much. Down here in the mortal world, she helped people make sweet rice balls, watched lanterns and riddles, and enjoyed this special festival. People loved her so much, and they named the fifteenth day of the first month "Lantern Festival," also known as "Dongxie Festival."
