Once upon a time, there was a beautiful lake in the forest. One day, a little girl named Lily was playing by the lake's edge when she heard a sad croaking sound coming from the water. She looked down and saw a beautiful frog who was trapped in the mud at the bottom of the lake.

Lily felt sorry for the frog and decided to help it. She pulled it out of the mud and placed it on the ground, where it promptly hopped away.

Days passed and Lily often visited the lake. One day, she noticed that the frog had returned, but it was no longer muddy and sad-looking. Instead, it was a handsome prince with golden skin and sparkling eyes.

"Thank you for saving me," he said to Lily. "I have been cursed to transform into a frog each night when the moon rises. But now that I am free, I can grant you a wish."

Lily was surprised and happy, but she had no wish that she needed fulfilled. So she asked the prince why he had been trapped in the lake all this time.

"I was lost and alone," he explained. "But now that I have found my way back to the land of the humans, I will help you in any way I can."

From then on, the prince became a great friend to Lily. He taught her how to navigate the forest and warned her of dangers lurking in the shadows. And every night, he transformed back into a beautiful frog and waited for her next visit.

This story teaches us that kindness and compassion can lead to unexpected rewards, and that true friendship is stronger than any curse or challenge.
