a letter to Grandpa

Dear Grandpa:

Hello, although you are watching TV downstairs, I will write this letter to you.

My mom and dad have advised you to quit smoking several times, but you just verbally said that after a while you picked up your baby-like cigarette and pumped it up. You have known how much damage is caused by smoking. Whenever I see your smoked black teeth and smoked yellow fingers, my heart hurts for a while.

A cigarette contains harmful substances such as nicotine, acetone, ammonia, arsenic, carbon monoxide and tar. Scientists have confirmed that nicotine in a cigarette can poison a white mouse, nicotine in twenty-five cigarettes can poison a cow, and 40-60 ml of pure nicotine can poison a person. And nicotine can lead to a variety of diseases, such as: heart disease, bronchitis and so on. Smoking is equivalent to chronic suicide. So I hope you don't smoke anymore.

I want to call here: Please stop smoking, and let us have a fresh air!

Sincerely, salute

I wish you good health and good luck.
