Qingming, we went to the grave

On the morning of March 31st, we had a long queue, holding small white flowers, and with a heavy heart, went to the Daisy Revolutionary Monument. Rows of tall pine trees around the cemetery, as if soldiers in green clothes are always guarding the revolutionary martyrs cemetery.

We walked to the monument with a deep heart. All the fourth-grade students sang "The Young Pioneers' Song" and the voice was very loud and firm, and then they mourned for three minutes. Then, we walked around the monument and presented the little white flowers we made ourselves. The martyrs fought for the prosperity and evil enemies of the Chinese nation. After 13 years of fighting, the soldiers finally drove the wicked Japanese devil out of our land and created the new China. The blood of the martyrs reddened our flag. A single white flower pinned our memory of the soldiers. We will always miss the martyrs who died on the battlefield.

At this point, I thought to myself: Now that our happy life is hard-won, it is all the predecessors who sacrificed in the battle, and they exchanged blood and life. We should cherish all of this and study hard.
