It is the annual Mid-Autumn Festival. People who wander outside are particularly missing their hometown relatives. Many people have already reunited the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Every place has a different way to celebrate the festival. There are places where dragons and lions dance, and some places have lanterns and fireworks. The custom of Gaoyou people in Jiangsu Province is to make incense, burn incense, and shoot. Grandpa put on the incense case in the same yard as in previous years. There are lotus roots, angular edges, buttercups, apples, oranges, moon cakes, etc. on the incense. Then the incense was ignited, one in the yard and the other in the land temple, the whole family worshipped the moon god. Then the whole family sat next to the incense case and ate sweet moon cakes, and enjoyed the bright moon hanging in the sky. Everyone said and laughed. Grandpa also told us the story of the rushing moon and Wu Ganggui.

I looked at the moon in the sky and smelled the scent of sweet-scented osmanthus. I can't help but remind me of the poem of Li Bai, the great poet of the Tang Dynasty:

I don’t know the moon,

Called as a white jade plate.

Fly in the blue cloud.

Immortal two feet,
