Nanjing is a very famous place.

China hosted the Olympic Games in Beijing; held the Asian Games in Guangzhou; and held the World Expo in Shanghai. The Youth Olympic Games will be held in beautiful Nanjing. As a national student in Nanjing, I feel extremely proud and happy.

Nanjing is an ancient capital of the Six Dynasties with a thousand years of history and many famous buildings. Now, Nanjing City is full of trees and flowers, and many high-rise buildings have been built. There are many famous places in Nanjing. For example: Purple Mountain, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Xuanwu Lake, Qinhuai River. and many more. These are very famous.

Now I have to study hard and I must learn English well. At that time, I want to be a small tour guide, telling foreign friends about Nanjing's long history, let them know about Nanjing and let them love Nanjing more.

I am looking forward to the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games is a meeting that is civilized and polite. Let everyone not swear, don't beat people, and help others. Let foreigners know that Nanjing is a civilized person.

I am looking forward to the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing as a meeting to care for the environment. Let everyone: drive less, go out and take the bus; if there is a river next to the house, don't throw garbage into the river, it will pollute the water. Let everyone care for the environment! Don't let foreigners know that Nanjing people are people who don't care for the environment.
