Sweeping the grave

On the afternoon of the Ching Ming Festival on April 5, our fourth grade students went to the Martyrs Cemetery to go to the grave with the martyrs. Starting from the school, we lined up a long queue like a long dragon. I am the leader of the class, holding the flagpole, walking with our classmates on the street, going to the place of the martyrs cemetery.

At the foot of the mountain, I saw the trees on both sides lush, the flowers on the ground were colorful, and they looked great. In a short while we came to the hero tombstone, the teacher told us not to shout loudly. Then, we mourned for three minutes to the heroes. In these three minutes, I thought that they were a great hero for our motherland. After 3 minutes. Some students’ speeches were about the hero’s tenacious battle for the motherland, the death of the family, the courage to go forward, and the spirit of their patriotism. Then, sing a wreath for these heroes. Finally, the white flowers for these martyrs expressed their respect for the heroes.

After the white flowers, we went to the Memorial Museum of the Martyrs Heroes. Here I saw Huang Jiguang and Zhao Yiman... These are all sacrificed for the peace and liberation of our motherland. After the visit, we left the Martyrs Cemetery with reluctance. On the way back, I was thinking: Without these heroes defending the motherland, there would be no happy life for us now.

Therefore, we should cherish the good life now!
