There are more and more disposable products, but it is convenient for people and also increases the discharge of garbage. The increase of urban motor vehicles is one of the signs of industrialization, but exhaust pollution is also increasingly threatening the health of residents. .

Environmental protection is not just a concept. It should be a way of life. Environmental protection should not stay in the shallow theoretical education model, but it cannot be completely separated from the cultivation of knowledge. Only by combining the theoretical knowledge with practice can we best The way to take environmental protection to a new level.

The so-called environmental awareness refers to the consciousness of people participating in environmental protection based on their own basic values ​​on the basis of cognitive environment and understanding of environmental protection rules. It is ultimately reflected in behaviors that are conducive to environmental protection. At present, most people in our country lack a clear understanding of the objective situation of environmental problems. According to the survey, most of the judgments of the state on the state of the environment are moderate, insensitive, and lack of understanding or even fundamental to many fundamental environmental problems. I don't understand, and a considerable part of the public is reluctant to take the initiative to acquire environmental knowledge. Before and after the World Environment Day in 2000, the National Environmental Protection Administration and the Ministry of Education jointly conducted a survey report on the national public environmental awareness. The results of the survey were that the public's environmental awareness and knowledge level were still at a lower level. Morality is weak, and China's public environmental awareness has strong reliance on government-type characteristics. The government plays a decisive role in strengthening public environmental awareness. From these large-scale surveys, we can see how bad the environmental awareness of our nationals is. The national environmental awareness of a country's nationals is so poor that one can imagine what the environmental problems of this country are.

In the investigation of the status quo of environmental protection awareness of college students, we found that:

1. Most of the students have strong environmental awareness and have implemented the concept of environmental protection into the details of daily life. In the future, our actual work will focus on mobilizing a small number of students who are not very active in environmental protection, and at the same time strengthen the existing environmental protection concepts of most students; strengthen the recruitment and management of environmental protection volunteers, start from their own, and do a good job in environmental protection. Be deep and create a beautiful and harmonious environment for the school.

2. The various activities of promoting environmental protection on the university campus have mobilized the environmental awareness of the students to a certain extent, but it is worth noting that in the next stage, our environmental protection publicity activities should adopt more suitable and diverse forms to mobilize more. Classmates participated in it and truly embedded the concept of environmental protection into the hearts of the people.
