The sky is hard to find the blue of yesterday, the mountains are not seen in the green, the river is lost in the past. Only by raising our awareness of environmental protection can we restore the beauty of the past! But what should we do?

On a sunny day, I walked home after the ball and walked around. I suddenly found a new telephone booth standing still on the sidewalk. It attracted me magnetically. I opened the door and saw it inside. A box with the words "waste battery recycling bin". Why use a used battery recycling bin? According to relevant information, a No. 1 battery is rotten in the ground, which can permanently lose the value of 1 square meter of soil; a button battery can pollute 600 tons of water, equivalent to the amount of water a person has in his lifetime. The battery contains a variety of chemicals such as mercury, lead, cadmium, etc. If the used batteries are mixed into domestic waste and landfilled, or discarded, the oozing mercury and heavy metal substances will penetrate the soil and pollute the groundwater, thus entering the fish and crops. It will destroy the living environment of human beings and indirectly threaten the health of people. It seems that our community has a strong environmental atmosphere.

In front of a "green house" car parked at the entrance of the hotel, I quickly ran up to see what happened, the original garbage truck also opened to our community. I heard that it is used to sort and collect garbage. Before we can sort it into the classified garbage bin according to the classification criteria, it will be sorted and recycled by the sanitation personnel into the green house car and then subdivided. Indeed, due to environmental pollution caused by humans, nature has already retaliated against us: global warming, sandstorms, ozone depletion, soil erosion... I have to act quickly and join the ranks of environmental protection!

Recently, I mobilized my family members and sneered and said: "I have been an environmental modeler for a long time." She used to pack recyclable newspapers, beer bottles, beverage bottles, and waste paper in a basket. Put it in the bag and throw it into the designated trash can. I am also environmentally friendly. Before bathing, I put cold water in the basin instead of arbitrarily flowing to the ground. And urged my father to do the same. Mom checks the power supply every day before going to bed to see if there is any unpowered power. Recently, there are also environmental protection bags in the supermarket. The plastic is not degradable. It is very polluting to the environment. It is difficult to decompose in the soil, which will lead to a decline in soil capacity. If it is burned, it will cause air pollution. I have found that our environment is changing, the environmental awareness of people around us is changing, and our community is changing...

We should start from around us, start now, start from ourselves, protect our environment and save our planet!
