Time × speed = distance
"The race in motion is to see how much time you spend on a limited distance; the race in life is to see how many miles you have traveled in a limited time."
--Inscription
Once, in the fifth grade last semester, the mathematics teacher taught us: "To find the length of a road, that is, to seek a journey, multiply time by speed; on the contrary, how much time it takes to reach the end point, divide the distance by Speed... When solving such problems, you can use this formula. In fact, their ideas are similar." These words, I have always kept in mind.
To this day, I saw the essay questions of the 2019 entrance exam, and I felt the same: the running race is just like this. In the known distance, run at a known speed and see how long you spend. It is "distance ÷ speed = time".
So, what about life's race?
Once, I saw a story in a magazine: A disabled female leopard living on the grassland spent all her efforts to take care of two young leopards. Every day, it runs around with only three legs to find food for the little leopard; sometimes it is scarred to resist the invaders... but it is not discouraged, for the beloved children, day after day, Running year after year - even if it is not rewarded, even if it will be exhausted in a certain corner of the grassland, it still persists. This disabled female leopard runs tirelessly in a limited life and writes a hymn of motherly love!
The famous pianist Beethoven, who was deaf in his ears during the following year, even seriously affected his normal life. After 25 years of isolation from his voice, he still worked hard to create world-famous masterpieces such as Moonlight Sonata, Ninth Symphony, and Symphony of Destiny. Beethoven, he did not live long, but in his short life, he actually ran such a long journey! His name is eternal for his brilliant music!
Perhaps, in the face of so many great people, I seem very small; perhaps, I can't make much contribution in my life. However, I will not give up, I have been working hard, always fighting, running on the road of life! I believe that I will be able to run out of my wonderful life with limited time and limited speed!
