Old Bang River Rafting

During the summer vacation, my mother took me to Guizhou to travel. There is a spectacular Huangguoshu Waterfall, a beautiful Huaxi Park, and an endless red maple lake, but the most memorable thing is to go to the Laobang River.

I used to listen to my mom and dad. They used to drift, how exciting, and how fun. This made me long for a long time. This time, I can finally experience it myself, and I am really excited.

Early in the morning, we arrived at the destination by car - Laobanghe. My mother and I put on a life jacket, took a rubber boat and set off. The river was stable at first, so we drifted and enjoyed the view. The water of the Old Bang River is green, like the green jade, it is fascinating. The river is crystal clear, sitting on the dinghy, you can see the water plants swaying in the water, the playful fish and shrimps and the pebbles lying still. There are many weeping willows by the river, the breeze blowing, the branches gently swinging, like a beautiful girl combing her long braids. After a while, we drifted to the first small slope. We passed down the river and passed easily. But then the river became narrower and narrower, and in some places only one rubber boat passed. My mother and I were well-known, but they were often stuck. Thanks to some good people who helped us, we were able to move on. The most exciting thing is the last big dive. It is a very high and steep slope. We haven't had time to prepare yet. The rubber boat is like a string of arrows. It rushed down from the big slope. As a result, we couldn't prevent it. We drank a big sip of water and became a "falling chicken", but I felt very fun. !

Finally, we reluctantly left the beautiful old river. I think: next time, I must go drifting again!
