Lushan Travel Notes

Last summer, my father took me to visit Lushan, a famous tourist destination in Jiangxi. My father and I took the car to Nanchang first, then took the coach to the mountainous area. I was tired and fell asleep after sitting for six hours along the way.

My dad and I went to the scenic spot and bought a ticket. The tour guide took us to the waterfall. On the way, we saw a thick fog drifting toward us, and walking on the road felt like flying, it was amazing.

At halfway up the mountain, we walked along the gravel road and enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the road. Suddenly, I heard the sound of the flowing water. The tour guide told us that it was the sound of the waterfall. We were very excited and really hoped to see the waterfall immediately. After a while, we saw the waterfall. It’s so spectacular! The running water rushed down from the high mountain top, and it was scattered into small drops of water, like a string of crystal pearls falling from the sky. Seeing such a scene, I can't help but think of the poem of the great poet Li Bai: "The flow is three thousand feet straight, and the suspect is that the Milky Way falls for nine days."

We played water under the waterfall, took photos, ate, watched the scenery, and had a good time, and it was already late in the evening. The tour guide let us take a break and prepare to go down the mountain. We went home along the way.
