China is the country with the richest wild strawberry resources in the world. It has been using wild strawberries very early and has been inherited ever since. The cultivation of large fruit strawberries in China began in 1915, but it has not received much attention in the past and has been slow to develop. Strawberry production has developed rapidly since the 1980s. China's current strawberry production area is about 70,000 hm2, ranking first in the world. The main producing areas are located in the eastern coastal areas of Liaoning, Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, etc. In recent years, Sichuan, Anhui, Xinjiang, Beijing and other regions Development is also very fast. The key strawberry producing areas include Liaoning Dandong, Hebei Baoding, Shandong Yantai, Shanghai Suburb, Sichuan Shuangliu, Jiangsu Lianyungang and other strawberries suitable for planting in sunny and hydrophobic soil. Large-sized strawberries should have a line spacing of 12 inches and a plant spacing of about 18 inches. In the fall, lay a layer of soil on the plants to prevent frost. After the soil has been frozen, 3-4 inches of hay can be placed on the plants.
