As a tall building rises from the flat, a home mall is opened one after another. Nowadays, we have entered the era of digitalization, technology is becoming more developed, and life is getting better. However, behind this are various environmental problems, from greenhouse effect to air pollution, from land desertification to drastic reduction of fresh water resources. People are aware of these problems, but have we put them into action?

Now, the word low carbon is no longer known, and my family has lived a low-carbon life these days. Every day, when I woke up from my sleep, my father had finished washing and was ready to go out. Although my father was in Zhangjiang, but because he drove to work, it would not get up very early. But I always think that low-carbon fathers who are useless by individuals are now starting from the individual, taking the MRT instead of driving, and now they will proudly say: "Low-carbon, start from me." Not only my father, my mother and I Also joined the low carbon army. My family has set the ultimate goal: not to waste a bit of electricity, a drop of water, a piece of paper. When we walk out of the room, we will turn off the lights. We will never waste water. We will not let this precious resource be wasted. Even if we use paper, we can use it all. When it is really impossible to use it, we collect it, recycle it, and save it. Then separate them from the steps. Our family also supervises other members to save energy and achieve a lower carbon life. In the past few days, our family has lived a low-carbon life. Everyone starts from the individual and feels the happiness of contributing to the environment while being low-carbon.

I thought that developing countries like China are still focusing on development. They are not as environmentally friendly as those in developed countries, but one thing has changed my mind.

Low carbon, we must start from everyone, our family has done it, then everyone? The bright lights of Shanghai at night can be described as the flower market lights, which can be called a city that never sleeps. That day was the day when the earth turned off the lights for one hour. At night, I was on the street. At eight o'clock, I thought that there were several shops that meant the lights, but the actual situation was beyond my expectation. First, a shop closed the lights, followed by another, and another. One after the other, shops, supermarkets, and cinemas almost all turned off the lights, leaving only street lights on the street. The usual brightly lit streets have faded a lot, just like the Rainbow Fairy lost its coat. As I gradually adapted to the surrounding environment, a bunch of fires came into view, looking at the fire, some citizens holding candles in the parade, they held their slogans: let the earth rest for an hour, let the children enjoy tens of thousands year. On the less bright street, the faint glow of a candle illuminates everyone. I saw this scene, I can't help but sigh, the earth that took off the gorgeous color is so beautiful.

Although turning off the lights for an hour does not give us anything for our Mother Earth, at least we can see that everyone has environmental protection. The strength of one person is small, but together they are powerful. People are in harmony, and Taishan moves. As long as everyone gives a little power, people can change.
