Observing the little turtle

On my birthday, my mother bought me a little turtle. Since then, I have become a good friend with it.

The small tortoise has a pair of black drums with round eyes and a small triangular mouth. The turtle shell has a rhombic pattern with a thin, short tail that looks very cute.

The little turtle's courage is very small. Once, I touched the shell of the turtle with a thin twig. I saw it slid the head and tail into the shell at once, making me laugh.

The little turtle loves to eat meat and loves to eat fish. Once, I put a piece of fish in front of it gently, only to see it carefully climbed to the front of the fish, first touched the fish with the nose, to ensure that the whole meal was eaten with gusto.

Later, I checked some information about the tortoise and learned that the turtle has a long life span, some for more than a thousand years. The tortoise is also very sleepy, sleeping for at least 10 months a year. The turtle shell serves to protect the turtle.

I am so happy today because I know more about turtles.
