Xiangyang People's Square

Xiangfan People's Square is located in the downtown area and prime location of Xiangfan. It is one of the largest streetscape parks in Xiangfan. It not only beautifies the urban environment, but also provides a place for leisure and entertainment.

If you take a bird's-eye view from the sky, People's Square is the layout of the East Field West Park. It consists of two squares with a side length of more than 200 meters. The total area is about 10 hectares.

On weekends, my parents and I entered the east entrance of the square from Changzheng Road. The first thing that came to my attention was a very wide and flat ground. The ground was all paved with granite tiles. A fan-shaped lawn is laid in each corner of the square. For most of the year, weeds and greens are seen. The lawn faces the edge of the square and has many marble benches and iron seats. The tourists are tired, sitting on it, or whispering, or squinting, or squinting, enjoying the rare warm sun in winter.

Approximately 200 meters west along the flat granite floor, it came to a tower-shaped three-story building, which is the boundary between People's Square and the open-air park behind. Right in front of the small building is a circular platform, the platform is not high, about six or seven centimeters, but it is the artificial fountain. If during the summer holiday, when the fountain is open, a water column at the center can be sprayed on the top of the tower-shaped small building, and the two small circles of water that are constantly changing shape form a spectacular picture.

Continue to bypass the small building to the west, and then enter a green ocean with trees and shadows. Many colored porcelain and cobblestone paved paths divide hundreds of trees of different names into pieces of different sizes and shapes. Looking at the tree card, I know that the tree species include: Guangyulan, Ziwei, Sabina, Cypress, Tasong, Palm, Lamei, etc. Among them, the crape myrtle is the city flower of our Xiangfan, the trunk of the light and light seems to have no bark, and the plant is also short. Can look at the age of the tree, even more than 50 years. Although today's crape myrtle has already fallen into the green leaves, she still stands in the woods with her own curved branches.

I love the squares, gardens and flowers of my hometown. I want to decorate the city and serve the people silently and unselfishly.
